Preview mode

Menu → Settings → Display options → Preview mode

Aximo supports two types of preview:

  • [Default] Aximo. Messages will be formatted by the bot.
  • Telegram. Messages will be formatted by the «Instant View» mechanism from Telegram.

You can control the preview mode for each data source type independently.

Notification templates

Menu → Settings → Display options → Notification templates

Aximo supports 8 visualisation variants for Aximo Preview Mode and 3 for Telegram preview mode. But also you can setup your own template. Each type of data source type can be setup individually.

Example

You added Elon Musk's twitter as data source.

Let's assume that new post has https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1364826301027115008 as URL and "Starship to the moon" as a description. Media title can be present only for some type of data sources (RSS, YouTube, Reddit).

Check below how notification will be sent to you for each options.

Long description handling

Menu → Settings → Display options → Long description handling

Current Telegram limits are 4,096 characters for text messages and 1,024 characters for media captions. You can change how Aximo should process notifications that don't fit these limits. Available options:

  • [Default] Truncate description. Text will be cut to fit the limits.
  • Split description. Text notification will be split into several messages. Media notification will be split into a media message without a description + several text notifications.

Menu → Settings → Display options → External links web-preview

If a message contains a link that is different from the link in the post, Aximo will generate a preview of that link using Telegram's built-in web-preview feature. But if you don't like this behavior, you can turn it off.

Add watermark to images

Menu → Settings → Display options → Add watermark to images

Feature is available only for Premium Users

For some premium plans, the feature of adding a watermark to all images sent by Aximo is available. It is very easy to configure. Send the watermark image to Aximo, turn on the feature, and set the position and transparency.
