Custom emoji support
Menu → Direct connection → Custom emojies
This feature is available only for Premium Users
Aximo supports custom emojis, but it will only work if several conditions are met:
- It only works in chat mode
- You have direct connection mode to Telegram enabled
- The connected account has an active Telegram Premium subscription
If you're using the standard notification template, the system will transfer a custom emoji from the source without changes. However, if you are planning to use a custom template, it becomes a bit more complicated.
Custom Template Setup
You can't use custom emojis in the template because they will be replaced by regular ones when sent to Aximo. Instead, follow this procedure:
- Send the command
/emoji <list_of_premium_emojis>
from a connected Premium Telegram account to Aximo - Wait for about 10-30 seconds
- Aximo will respond with a special code for each emoji that you need to insert into your custom template.
Response example
<tg-emoji emoji-id="5440660757194744323">‼️</tg-emoji>
<tg-emoji emoji-id="5253742260054409879">✉️</tg-emoji>
<tg-emoji emoji-id="5276032951342088188">💥</tg-emoji>
The system operates in two ways
- If the data source type is Telegram and was added via direct connection, all new posts will have premium emojis.
- If the data source is of a different type add the connected account as an admin to the chat where the publication is going. In this case Aximo will post initial message through our (or your) bot and then replace regular emojis with custom ones via the connected Telegram Premium account.
It might seem a bit complicated, but if you encounter any difficulties, ask for help in the support group @madbots_talk.
